New Art Press sells its eBooks through Amazon.com, the world's largest bookstore.
As a reseller of books, Amazon takes 55% of the profits of each book. This means that
a book with a list price of $10.00 will yield a profit of $4.50. The author and co-op will
share in the book's profits at the rate of 60% for the author and 40% for the co-op. In our
example, the author will receive $2.70 for each eBook sold.
The remaining $1.80 per book will be used to pay for
producing, publishing and marketing your book.
